Katie is our pride and joy as well as the foundation bitch for our kennels.  This spectacular bitch is the epitome of elegance, femininity, and type showing beautiful conformation combined with breath-taking movement.  Katie was exclusively owner-handled in 1997 with multiple Best Of Breed and multiple Group wins including multiple Group 1's to the elite status of a Top 20 Akita as well as the #4 bitch in the country and the #1 bitch in the Rocky Mountain region.  Most importantly though she is a cherished member of our family, bringing us joy every day with her sweet, gregarious personality.  Since retirement in 1997, she has continued to excel as a brood bitch, producing the #10 dog for 2000, CH Black Forests Number One-AOM, "Ryker" and the upcoming Special CH Black Forests MorningStar, "Gracie".
